I’ve been looking into attending a bunch of conventions over the next year. I had been meaning to start doing this for a bit now but I hated the idea of spending the money in case it didn’t work out. I’ve come to terms with investing the money now and made a nice long list of cons all across the US to go to. So it looks like I get to travel a bit and see a bunch of places I probably would have never gotten to see otherwise.
I’m also still working on rewrites for the second Strand book as well as a re edit of the After the Storm books. I’m hoping to start the third Strand book soon as well.
Oh yeah and I’d like to get around to updating this more as well as the travel pages. I still have to finish writing about England and start writing about Florence.
Back to work with me,
I’ve had to put editing and rewrites on hold for a little bit in order to get ready for my appearance at the sci fi convention Arisia next week. I have to admit I am both excited and terrified about all this. I’ve Read the rest of this entry
I know I haven’t been updating a lot lately. I finished book 3 and took a little break for the holidays. Even taking a break I have still been editing and trying to figure out what to do at the convention I will be attending in January. The new year is here though and the holiday will soon be over. I will be getting back at it full force in just a couple days. Also need to see about reworking a couple of sections in book 3.
Happy New year all and stay safe out there tonight!
It’s supposedly the end of the world and once again I’m disappointed. That may sound odd but well, I’m bored with the way things are and have been going for quite some time. I’m a big fan of shaking things up and a little death and destruction is the perfect way to do that. I think it’ll keep the human race as a whole on it’s toes.
It’s also the holiday season, another reason to wish for the end of everything Read the rest of this entry
Looks like I’ll be wrapping up book three in a day or two. I shouldn’t have more than a chapter or so left to write. I enjoyed writing it immensely and I’m hoping that translates into a story that everyone will enjoy. I’m sure that won’t be the case since I learned long ago you can’t please everyone but I think it brings everything around nicely and closes off this chapter of the universe I’m trying Read the rest of this entry
So I spent all day trying to get all these sites linked. Not sure if I’ve actually accomplished that or not but I know that the OFFICIAL facebook page is now up ( I had made a group before I didn’t know you could make an official page as well). The After the Storm site here at wordpress looks better and has more links on it. and my goodreads page looks better, even though I can’t get it to link to wordpress because they only accept reader profiles not author profiles, Bah!
I’d like to get around to adding some stuff to this blog about the actual book and about writing the second book as well. Eventually I will I guess, it just seems to be taking forever for all this marketing and networking stuff.
Ah well, back to it.
