I managed to survive another Arisia sci fi convention despite having a lingering head cold, a large lack of sleep, and a pretty decent intake of booze. Thankfully attending Arisia is nothing new to me so I was well aware and somewhat prepared for it. Considering I only had one panel to be on, this year was a cake walk compared to the ones I had attended in the past as part of the Rocky Horror cast that performs at the convention every year. I know it hasn’t really gotten cold here yet but the time change has happened and once again 5PM looks far to similar to 11PM for my taste. When I was a kid I LOVED Halloween, everyone did. How could you not? When I was a kid there was a bit more freedom. We could go out and wander around our neighborhood filling pillowcases with candy. Since I’m here I suppose I should give an update! Today I got Strand set up and formatted for the paperback version and figured out my blurb for Amazon! I’ve also been working on a release date and as long as my Beta readers don’t hate this book I’m looking to have it ready to go and up Read the rest of this entry
Strand is the title of my new Sci Fi book that will hopefully be out in the next couple months! It’s coming along quite nicely and the first draft is just about done! Here’s a sneak peek at the cover!
I think I’ve decided that I’m going to use The Antilles as the working title for my new sci fi story. It’s the name of the warship in the book and most of the action/ story so far takes place on or around it. Read the rest of this entry
