It’s supposedly the end of the world and once again I’m disappointed. That may sound odd but well, I’m bored with the way things are and have been going for quite some time. I’m a big fan of shaking things up and a little death and destruction is the perfect way to do that. I think it’ll keep the human race as a whole on it’s toes.
It’s also the holiday season, another reason to wish for the end of everything, just to avoid finishing Christmas shopping and wrapping presents. Usually by now I’ve found the proverbial Christmas spirit but for some reason this year I’m just not finding it. I’m not all scrooged out either but I’m just sort of blah about the whole thing. Ah well, there’s a few days left I guess.
Bookwise I’ve finished book 3 and have started working a little bit on starting the edits. I also have a couple friends looking things over and have to get in touch with a third who offered to help me with editing. I also have neglected finishing the cover mostly because I just haven’t been in the mood to yet.
Later this week I’ll also be working on planning out the After the Storm Party at arisia this year. I haven’t thrown a themed party ever so it should be interesting planning this thing out. My normal idea of a party is, open the door, put out the booze and get drunk… I may have to work things out a bit more for this one. 🙂
Ok back to work with me. Enjoy the weekend (even if the world doesn’t end) and Happy Holidays to everyone!
