I managed to survive another Arisia sci fi convention despite having a lingering head cold, a large lack of sleep, and a pretty decent intake of booze. Thankfully attending Arisia is nothing new to me so I was well aware and somewhat prepared for it. Considering I only had one panel to be on, this year was a cake walk compared to the ones I had attended in the past as part of the Rocky Horror cast that performs at the convention every year. So, if the Mayan calender is wrong and we make it to next year I will be attending the Arisia 2013 sci fi convention at the Westin hotel in downtown Boston. “I will be appearing” sounds too pretentious. Let’s just say I will be hanging out and hopefully, getting very drunk and possibly, a bit too friendly with a whole bunch of folks that I hope to turn into fans the weekend of January 18-21. My room will be somewhere on the fourth floor (the party floor) and i will be throwing the After the Storm party on Saturday night! If you’re in the area get your tickets.
